About this Collectable
A completely original Impreza GT Turbo with only 63,000 km. Ladies & gentlemen, we got him! As one of the last in this series, this Impreza was delivered in 2001 by Subaru dealer Adriaanse from Eindhoven. The original set of mats with the dealer name on it is still neatly in the car. The booklets are available, supplemented with invoices that demonstrate the regular maintenance.
After 7 years, the car was sold to the second owner, who kept it until 2019. He did a great job of maintaining the car, with 4 new Bridgestone tires just before sale. A rally cannon for the street. No, wait before you laugh! Of course the real rally cars looked different, but the family connection is clear. Due to the fact that the Subaru Impreza GT Turbo is a homologation special, there are some special details on the car. The big spotlights were needed for the evening stages, the hood scoop for extra horsepower and the rear spoiler for extra downforce. At a time it was fashionable to order your 555 (in blue) with the golden wheels, this Impreza is composed as modestly as possible. And that makes it all the more suitable for still inconspicuously through the street scene. Only visible to the connoisseurs.
It may not have been beautiful, but now it is precisely those details that give the Impreza GT Turbo its unique character. Relatively light (1,230 kg), four-wheel drive, torque and the characteristic rumble (with this Impreza still due to the original exhaust, that alone makes it desirable, as far as we are concerned). A Dutch-delivered car, completely original and with a low mileage. Truly a Collectable.
