The Renault Mégane F1 Team R26 was the range-topping version of the Mégane, launched in 2007 to celebrate the brand's Formula 1 Constructors' World Championship title. The R26 F1 was optionally available in Sirius Yellow, featuring grey-and-white decals, 18-inch wheels, and red brake calipers. Renault upgraded the 2.0-litre turbo engine, which delivered 230 hp and 310 Nm of torque. What makes the R26 F1 particularly exciting is its limited-slip differential and substantial Brembo brakes, while Recaro bucket seats keep the driver and passenger firmly in place. It has become a rare sight today, as many R26 F1s were lost to less skilled drivers or ended up with enthusiasts who have kept them safely stored away, rarely taking them out for a drive.
