Porsche Panamera 3.0 S E-Hybrid (981)

Part of the 2013 Panamera facelift at Porsche was the introduction of a plug-in hybrid model, the Panamera S E-Hybrid. The plug-in version was unveiled at the Shanghai Auto Show in April 2013. The S E-Hybrid is powered by a 71 kW (95 hp) 288V electric motor and a 3.0-liter V6 TFSI petrol engine, delivering a combined system output of no less than 416 hp. The Panamera can also be driven fully electrically with a maximum speed of 135 km/h. The plug-in hybrid is equipped with a 9.4 kWh battery, providing a range of approximately 36 km. Charging takes about 3.5 hours via a standard 220V connection. According to fuel consumption standards, this results in an average consumption of 1:33, and that for a Porsche! Now in our auction is a neat and damage-free example in its original paintwork and from the first Dutch owner! He bought the car new in 2014 and drove it averaging just under 20,000 km per year. The car is well-equipped with everything you would expect in this class. Leather upholstery, sunroof, heated seats, air suspension, etc., etc. The cognac leather looks great with the Maronenbraun metallic paint, and the acid green brake calipers indicate that this is the Hybrid version of the Panamera. The owner has always had the car serviced on time, first at the supplying dealer in Rotterdam, and later at his regular garage. The car still looks neat for its age and mileage and drives as it should.

Our opinion

The Panamera remains a true Porsche. Fast, a superb braking system, and despite the greater weight, a real Porsche when it comes to spirited driving. You do notice the extra weight on the rear axle, but it never becomes bothersome. Once a BPM and company car tax windfall, this is now primarily a delightful limousine that allows you to drive very economically when necessary and really floor it when possible!
