In 2009, Porsche introduced the facelift of the Porsche 997 series. While the exterior received some subtle changes, much more happened under the hood. For instance, the PCM not only received a more modern look, but internally it also met the latest standards in terms of maps and capabilities. However, the most significant changes concerned the engine and the (automatic) gearbox. The modern DFI engines eliminated the issues that plagued the first series, delivered more power, and offered lower fuel consumption. The somewhat dated 5-speed automatic transmission was replaced by a state-of-the-art dual-clutch gearbox, the PDK! Coming to our auction this coming week is a 2009 997 Carrera 4S MK2 Cabriolet in very neat condition, fully serviced by a Porsche dealer until June of this year.
