The BMW 325i (E30) succeeded the 323i, which was first delivered in the E21 and initially in the E30. A very popular and successful model from BMW, which the sporty family man (or mother) could use under all circumstances. A reliable 6-cylinder with 170 hp, rear-wheel drive, a smoothly shifting 5-speed or 4-speed automatic transmission and an excellent chassis with independent suspension all around. The fact that they are almost indestructible is evident from the fact that they are still very competitive in various racing classes. Unfortunately, good examples are very scarce or have been badly tuned by young drivers who paid more attention to rims and exhaust than the rest of the technology. The station wagon variant, based on the four-door sedan, was introduced in 1987. Unlike its predecessor, the 02-series Touring, the 3 Series Touring was enthusiastically received by its target group. Next week we will have a nice Touring variant in our auction, with the special feature that it is the first 4-wheel drive BMW. Swiss delivered with almost all options and in neat technical and optical condition.
