The first Cayman was already a very well-balanced sports car and with the 981 Porsche improved this recipe even more. And - unlike its successor - it still has a six-cylinder. You could therefore see the 981 as the pinnacle of the Cayman line. The 981 arrived in 2012 as the third-generation Boxster and second-generation Cayman. This brought the car one step closer to the ultimate sports car. For example, the chassis is 40% stiffer and despite the fact that the new 981 has grown in length, the car is still slightly lighter. The 987 was already praised for its driveability and with the 981 Porsche managed to take the Cayman to an even higher level.

This specific example is equipped with 20-inch Carrera S rims, Porsche Active Suspension Management, cruise control, seat heating and parking sensors front and rear. About the seller

The seller wasn't looking for a Cayman, but at the beginning of this year an opportunity came up to buy one. He seized this opportunity and undexpectedly became a Porsche Cayman owner. He thinks it's a great car to drive and has had it detailed and fitted with a different exhaust tip. He did not intend to dispose of the car in the short term. For his work, however, he unexpectedly had to go abroad, which would mean that the Cayman would be stationary in the garage in the Netherlands for most of the year. That is why he unfortunately has to sell the car already.
