The Renault Alpine A310 was the last Alpine model developed by company founder Jean Rédélé before he sold the Alpine brand entirely to Renault. As a result of this sale, the Alpine brand cars were marketed under the dual brand name Alpine Renault and later in the 1980s Renault Alpine. The successors to the A310 are the Alpine V6 GT and the Alpine V6 Turbo. The first generation of the A310 had a four-cylinder engine and six headlights. The A310 used a tubular steel chassis topped by a one-piece molded plastic body reinforced with fiberglass. In 1976 the A310 was equipped with the more powerful and newly developed V6 PRV engine that was also used in some Renaults, Volvos and Peugeots and an engine power of 110 kW (150 hp), good for a top speed of 220 km/h. The driving characteristics of the A310 V6 were comparable to those of the then Porsche 911. The car received a facelift from 1981, including the four-hole TRX rims and the rear suspension of the Renault 5 Turbo. In the Netherlands the A310 was and is a rarity. We can offer the very last Alpine delivered in the Netherlands next week, with a fully galvanized chassis and a very nice history.
