About this Collectable
To what extent the slogan 'Freude am Fahren' is applicable, sometimes differs per BMW model, but with the Z4 this slogan is undoubtedly spot on. With its unique styling, the first generation in 2021 is still a special appearance. This car has a manual transmission, is in excellent condition and is well equipped.
The E85 Z4 is known as a real driver's car. And that is of course exactly what you want with a BMW roadster. That includes a manual gearbox and that is what you will find in this Collectable. With the M suspension, it is one of the sportiest cars in the Z3 / Z4 series to this day. Until 2005, the Z4 was only available with inline six engines. Since this copy is from 2004, it cannot be otherwise or there is a proper six-cylinder in it. To be precise, the 3.0i (M54B30), the most powerful version of the moment, which sends 231 hp towards the rear wheels. The design is also a major attraction of the Z4. The proportions are nicely traditional, while things like the Z-line on the flanks and the uniquely shaped headlights provide a good dose of distinctiveness. Since the successor to the E85 looked quite different (just like its predecessor), it is still a unique design.
This Collectable was imported from Germany in 2007 and in recent years was owned by a Groningen car enthusiast and garage owner, who took excellent care of the car. Technically the car is therefore in top condition and cosmetically there is little to criticize.
