Porsche 986 Boxster S
The Porsche 986 Boxster S was first introduced in the year 2000 to complement the already successful Boxster series. This open two-seater was intended to combine driving pleasure, performance and elegance in one vehicle. With its unique design and powerful mid-engine, the Boxster was soon a success and a great addition to the Porsche range, which at the time consisted only of the 911 series.
Thanks to its mid-engine layout, it was (and still is) one of the best handling Porsche ever and, as a Boxster S, seriously fast too.
Meanwhile, the Boxster has been stripped of its entry-level image and is becoming a sought-after car among collectors and enthusiasts. The real bargains are no longer available and especially cars with low mileage have been rising in price in recent years.
The Boxster S offered here has a special background. See below the history of the current owner. The car has been continuously maintained and of course has a correct NAP. In recent years it has been driven very little. We therefore recommend maintenance after purchase. Unfortunately, recently when opening the hood in cold weather, the plastic rear window cracked as visible in the photos and the central door lock does not work.
Our opinion
A very nice Boxster S with a unique background and a low mileage that is substantiated with a NAP reading and several service invoices. Also, originally Dutch delivered and manual transmission! A few minor points need to be fixed, but a nice job for the winter months to be able to fully enjoy it in spring.
About the seller
The Dutch first owner won the car in the Süddeutschen Klassenlotterie in November 2000. Besides the car's nice equipment, the winner also got a year of free insurance with it. He collected the car in Stuttgart and then immediately registered it in the Netherlands. The first registration is therefore in the Netherlands. As far as is known, he owned the car for 22 years, after which he traded it in. The current owner wanted to keep the car for himself, registered it for a while to be able to take it for a few more drives, but has now decided to sell it.

Notes
This Porsche is in very good condition. The car has normal signs of use, as shown in the photos. Rear window needs to be replaced and the central locking currently does not work.
Recent maintenance history
This Porsche has always been serviced. In recent years, the car has been driven very little (around 12,000 km). We therefore recommend servicing after purchase.
The last serious service is from 27 May 2016 at 56,680km.
The entire history is of course demonstrable and available upon request. The service booklet is unfortunately not present.
