It all began in 1992 with the Audi RS2, which was later succeeded by the RS4. Initially equipped with a 2.7-liter V6 Biturbo engine, driving all four wheels, Audi introduced the new RS4 more than four years after the first generation of the RS4. A 4.2-liter V8 based on the B7 series was introduced. At the end of 2006, the most expensive version (the Cabriolet) was added. Nearly 15,000 RS4s of this generation were built, guaranteeing exclusivity. Only 1,507 Cabriolets were ever released. The 4.2-liter engine revved to an impressive 8,250 rpm, producing a divine sound.

This incredibly special Cabriolet with a manual transmission will be available online next week.
