Porsche Boxster RS60 (987) 1841 of 1960
As a tribute to the 718 RS 60 Porsche, which won many race victories in the 1960s, Porsche delivered the stunning Porsche Boxster RS60 edition in GT silver in 2008. Based on a Boxster S (987), but with 8 extra horsepower (always good). The extra horsepower is realized by a Sport exhaust system developed specifically for this limited edition. In addition to the exhaust system, which was copied from the GT3, the Stuttgart team has come up with a number of other distinctive details not to be missed.
These include: a black rebate around the windshield, 19-inch sport design wheels, 5 mm spacers all around and the red convertible top.
And that, in turn, matches the rest of the finishes beautifully. This RS60 was originally delivered in Germany. In 2021, the current
owner bought the Porsche in Germany with another 1.5 years Porsche warranty and then put it on Dutch registration. Maintenance has until last year
taken place at Porsche dealers and the last service was performed in March this year by a reputable Porsche specialist. After making many beautiful memories it is time to find a new lover for the RS60.
Our opinion
A real special. Porsche pretty much has a patent on that it seems and they manage to amaze us every time. Only 1960 pieces (reference to the production year of the "old" RS60) were produced. This is number 1841, so 1 of the last from this series.
The sports exhaust combined with the Tiptronic S controls and sporty suspension make driving a treat. This newly broken in and very
well maintained example is in our opinion a real Collectable to enjoy for a long time and is expected to have no depreciation.
