Porsche 911 GT3 (991) Clubsport

Just like the models of the 996 and 997 series, the 991 also had a GT3 variant, which was released in 2013. This GT3 once again featured a fixed rear spoiler, specially modified bumpers, and, of course, the central dual exhaust. The GT3 was available as a comfort version with sports seats or as a Clubsport with carbon fiber bucket seats and a roll cage. The 991 GT3 received a completely newly developed engine that revs to a spectacular 9,000 rpm. Coupled with the lightning-fast PDK gearbox, the GT3 accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.4 seconds, from 0 to 200 km/h in 11.9 seconds, and reaches a top speed of 315 km/h. Impressive figures, of course, but the most important thing was naturally the lap time on the Nürburgring Nordschleife, which the 991.1 GT3 managed to complete in under 7:32 min. A hardcore naturally aspirated sports car is unfortunately a dying breed. The high-revving 3.8-liter boxer six-cylinder is guaranteed to give you goosebumps on every drive. The GT3 is very agile and stable, giving it fabulous handling. Yet, the car offers enough comfort for touring. The bucket seats may seem uncomfortable, but once you sit in them, you will never want anything else.

The 991 GT3 offered here was delivered new in Dubai to the first owner by Porsche dealer Al Nabooda. They also performed the maintenance punctually every year. In 2022, the car was serviced in Germany by Porsche Bensberg, after which the final two services were carried out by Porsche specialist de Weaver Autosport. Serious maintenance was performed almost every year and approximately every 5,000 km, which contributes to the excellent condition in which this 991 GT3 finds itself. The Rhodium Silver color suits it perfectly, especially in combination with the black rims and red brake calipers. The GT3 is excellently documented with all invoices and documents and is in top condition both visually and technically. Furthermore, it is equipped with the Clubsport package, which means a roll cage, carbon bucket seats, and six-point harnesses are on board.

Our opinion

Where do we begin? We can be brief about the 991 GT3: it is fantastic. According to connoisseurs, this is the last true GT3. Naturally aspirated howl up to 9,000 rpm. And in Clubsport trim, to boot. Fortunately, this is an example that has also been used to be enjoyed. So, not put away in a corner where many GT3s stand languishing and drying out without any maintenance, but simply used regularly and perfectly maintained. 

About the seller

The current owner searched for a suitable GT3 for some time and came across this Porsche 911 GT3 in Germany. The specification appealed to him immediately, with exactly the right look and configuration. The car has a fully documented history, good mileage, and was clearly treated with care. Everything was right, and that gave him the confidence to go for it. A GT3 is, of course, no ordinary 911. This is a true driver's car: pure, sharp, and made to enjoy every kilometer. The sound, the steering, and the experience behind the wheel make every drive special. Since he hardly gets around to driving, he has decided to sell the 991 GT3 through The Collectables.
