AMG GT-S

The AMG GT was presented in 2014 and features the new 4.0 V8 with two twin-scroll turbos in the so-called Hot-V configuration. The engine produced 462 hp in the AMG GT, but in the GT-S it was already 510 hp, which became 522 hp after the facelift. This is only available as a coupe and also features various things that the standard GT does not have, such as an electronic limited-slip differential, Race Mode, launch control, adaptive dampers, and an active exhaust system. The AMG GTs were and are a direct competitor to the 911 and compete very creditably in the GT3 and endurance championships. Anyone who follows motorsport even a little has undoubtedly seen Max Verstappen driving an AMG GT on the Nordschleife during the 24-hour race. That says something about the potential of the AMG GTs. Incidentally, just like a 911, the AMG GT-S is simply usable as a daily all-rounder; you can use it to pick up rolls from the bakery in the morning (or have someone pick them up), then drive full throttle down the Autobahn to a track, and simply drive back home in the evening, and then take the AMG to work again the next day.

We currently have a beautiful example in our auction in a (in our opinion) very lovely color: Hyacinth Red with black leather upholstery. This is the facelifted model, so it is not a conversion like the many others for sale. A fully optioned car featuring, among others, the following sporty packages: AMG Aero package, AMG Dynamic Plus package, AMG Night package, AMG Track package, AMG Performance seats, AMG Performance Alcantara steering wheel, AMG 19/20” wheel set, a limited-slip differential, and adaptive engine mounts. The AMG GT-S is completely original, dealer-maintained, naturally damage-free, in its original paint, and from the 2nd owner. Additionally, it has just had a service. In short, a top-notch example!

Our opinion

Something different from a 911 GTS or GT3 for a change. A car that is absolutely not inferior to them, featuring a beautiful V8 that is always responsive and makes an amazing sound when you really settle in. The example offered here is exceptionally neat, impeccably maintained, and in a very beautiful color combination.

About the seller

The current owner bought the GT-S because of the color and the car's amazing condition. Due to a move and the resulting lack of space, the car is available to a new owner via The Collectables.
