In our opinion, this BMW M6 is not only Collectable because of the V10, but also because of the unique color scheme: Ruby Black (S23) exterior with Gold Brown and Piano Black interior - as far as it is known the only one in Europe. And then it is also from the first owner, in completely original condition, the car has always slept indoors, it is completely damage-free and with the full maintenance history.
This M6 was specified by Rogier himself some 15 years ago, using BMW's Individual program. This created a unique BMW M6. This special color scheme has exactly the same color combination as the Limited Edition Neiman Marcus Cabriolet, which was produced in an edition of 50 units in 2007. Would Neiman Marcus really just copied Rogier's specifications? In any case, it worked very successfully for them, as all 50 cars were sold in a minute and a half (!).
This M6 is equipped with the optional M Drivers Package, which limits the V-max to 305 km / h instead of the usual 250 km / h. The M6 was already faster than the M5 because of its lower weight thanks to, among other things, a carbon roof, carbon suspension points of the bumper and the carbon boot lid. Only 9,087 copies of the M6 were produced worldwide compared to almost 20,000 M5 (E60) sedans.
The car is registered in Belgium, but for the Dutch the remaining BPM is less than EUR 1,000 and importation is now a piece of cake. In April 2021, this car will also reach the young timer status in the Netherlands, so refueling, maintenance and stylish driving with all the associated (tax) benefits.
