Bentley Continental Supersports W12

due to a technical error, the closing has been moved, from Monday 2-10 8 p.m., to Thursday 5-10 9 p.m.

A top speed of over 320 km/h may seem irrelevant on the busy roads of the Netherlands, but for this ultimate Bentley, it is more than just bragging rights. The Supersports is by far the most driver-oriented Continental GT in 2010, mainly because of the modifications that ensure stability and comfort at very high speeds. The lower weight, wider track, new gearbox and extra power all ensure that this car performs very strongly even at the legal limit! Everything feels very refined and gives a lot of feeling.

Press the accelerator pedal to the bottom and the Bentley accelerates like crazy, what a force.
The 6.0-liter W12 engine pushes through to over 320kmh. It seems like wind and rolling resistance have little effect on the performance drive of this coupe.Fortunately, the Supersports Lightweight has carbon ceramic brakes with a gigantic diameter.

At the time, the Continental Supersports was the fastest and most powerful production car delivered from the United Kingdom. Bentley itself gives a top speed of exactly 330 km/h, while acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h would take just 3.8 seconds. To help it do that, the Supersports is equipped with upgraded brakes and suspension. It also features a new Quick Shift automatic transmission and a modified all-wheel drive system that sends a greater proportion of the car's power to the rear wheels. Subtle changes, but very effective. For weight savings, the rear seats have been removed and lightweight extras have been added, including carbon bucket seats taken directly from the Bugatti Veyron. Furthermore, ceramic brakes contribute to a significantly lower (unsprung) weight. On the outside, a body kit with wider sills and flared wheel arches is visible. Furthermore, the car features an aerodynamic bottom.

This car is finished in stylish black and features 20-inch, 10-spoke alloy wheels in matching color. A new smoked-steel finish has been applied to the grille and headlights.

At the front are a large number of air intakes, while dual vents in the hood ensure that 10 percent more air is fed to the upgraded twin-turbo W12. The engine offers higher turbo pressure and delivers 621 horsepower at 6,000 rpm - that's 21 horsepower more than the Continental GT Speed. In addition, it boasts a staggering 800 Nm of torque. Thanks to the lightweight package, the car weighs "only" 2,240 kg.

Our opinion

A mighty 12-cylinder with a perfect powertrain and, despite its sporty equipment, still plenty of comfort. Back in 2010, the Bentley cost no less than €330,000, and you notice this in everything. From the high quality materials to the perfect finish. The Bentley is all premium class.
