Alfa Romeo MiTo Veloce Twin Air Turbo
The name MiTo is an amalgamation of Milan (where the car was designed) and Torino, (where production takes place). While the MiTo shares its platform with a number of Fiat models, it has obvious styling elements of the stunning Alfa 8C.
All versions of the MiTo feature the so-called DNA system. Here, the driver can choose between different settings of throttle response, brakes, differential, degree of power steering, shock absorption, etc., among others. The D stands for Dynamic (sporty, which among other things activates the Q2 differential) N stands for Normal (standard), and the A for All-Weather: (bad weather). Among other things, the MiTo uses the so-called Twinair engines, developed together with Fiat and providing full control of the intake air in the engine. This makes it a very efficient engine with relatively high power. That the MiTo is well built proves its five-star score on the EuroNCAP crash test. In addition, the MiTo earned the award for best import car in its class at the leading German car magazine Auto Motor und Sport for several years.
In 2016, a facelift was implemented that included the new Alfa logo. Furthermore, the nose was modified and the model line was divided into Super and Veloce. Many years after its introduction, the MiTo still looks good and, especially in the well and luxuriously equipped Veloce variant, is a fantastic offer.
The MiTo offered here is from the first owner who looked after it well. All servicing has been done at the Alfa dealer and the car looks neat apart from some minor signs of use. He bought the car at the time as the best and most beautiful car in the "small" segment. In addition, as a Veloce, it is very richly equipped, economical and smooth. The car has a chic colour combination of Anthracite metallic, black leather and also the rims painted in Anthracite. The red brake calipers give that extra sporty touch to the car and match nicely with the interior trim with carbon print and red piping.
Our opinion
Truly one of the nicest cars in the B-segment. Smooth, economical and it just looks good. Again something different from the (often overpriced) German or French choices and, above all, much better equipped. The handling is sporty but certainly still comfortable enough for a long drive. A mature car that has been in production for no less than 10 years, so that says it all.
About the seller
The Dutch owner first bought the car (with 5 km on the odometer) on business and then switched to private. The car was already registered (but never driven) by the dealer so there was a previous ascription. Due to obtaining a company car, the MiTo has only been used sporadically in recent years. In addition, there are several cars in the driveway and the MiTo may therefore pass from its first to a new owner.

This MiTo is in very good condition. The car has hardly any signs of use, as can be seen in the photos. One rim has slight kerb damage and on the right mirror some clearcoat is coming off.
