The 997 Carrera is a seriously fast sports car weighing around 1,400 kg; it arrived in 2004 as the successor to the 996, a model whose front-end styling was a matter of taste. The 997 lineup included a 4S version which, unlike its 996 predecessor, actually boasted increased power. Standard 997 Carreras came equipped with a 3.6-liter flat-six engine producing 325 hp and 370 Nm of torque. That is plenty for a sports car of this weight, but more power is always better. The 4S versions feature not only a "wide-body" rear but also a potent 3.8-liter engine delivering an impressive 355 hp and 400 Nm—a difference you can really feel. The 2S lacks that wider stance, giving the 4S that extra touch of visual appeal. Furthermore, the all-wheel-drive system provides added stability and makes the car even more versatile. Mated to a six-speed manual transmission, this 4S is exactly as it should be. Delivered by PON Leusden in April 2007, this 997 features a six-speed manual gearbox, extensive leather upholstery, and silver-finished interior trim. The Carrera Sport GT wheels give the car a fantastic look.
