The Mercedes W203/S203 was produced from 2000 to 2008, with driving dynamics, styling, and comfort standing out as its key strengths. However, there were—and still are—a few issues requiring attention: rust and electronic faults. Interestingly, while some cars have been completely ravaged by rust, others remain entirely unaffected. In 2001, Mercedes launched the C32, featuring a supercharged 3.2-liter V6 engine delivering 354 hp and 450 Nm of torque. The C32 AMG offers a superb driving experience—think of it as the Alpina B3 to the BMW M3's standard M model. Coming up in our auction next week is a fantastic example of this AMG: one that has escaped the rust bug and has had several common faults professionally rectified. A minor upgrade makes this C32 at least as fast as the C55 V8, yet more agile and fuel-efficient.
