"Vorsprung durch Technik" (Vorspring through Technology) was always Audi's slogan. They were early adopters with their 'quattro' all-wheel drive, powerful diesels, and fast station wagons. However, electrification took a little longer at Audi, and the Audi E-tron quattro Concept was unveiled at the IAA in Frankfurt in 2015. The concept car had three electric motors, producing a total of 500 hp, and its 95 kWh battery allowed for a range of 500 km. The prototype followed in 2018, and the production version later that year. The E-tron 50 and E-tron 55 were very popular in the Netherlands due to the favorable tax climate, but also because of the E-tron's solid appearance and styling. Because let's be honest, it's simply a beautiful car to look at and fits perfectly in the line of its gasoline-powered siblings.

The E-tron offered here has been signed by all employees at the Brussels factory and, with only 10 km on the odometer, is brand new. It's fully equipped with options, cream leather upholstery, and powerful brakes hidden behind 21-inch rims. Unfortunately, the battery could not be tested because the E-tron stalls in neutral.

This lot is part of the unique youngtimer collection from the Audi factory in Brussels, which has been brought to the Netherlands.

Our opinion

The E-tron was very popular in the Netherlands for good reason. A sturdy and reliable Audi with zero emissions. Thanks to the absence of BPM (private car tax), it was competitively priced and, at the time, also exempt from road tax. One of the nicer EVs, in our opinion.

The E-tron is new and fully signed. The chassis number of this E-tron has been removed and is therefore no longer present or visible. Unfortunately, the battery could not be tested because the E-tron remains in neutral. The buyer should be aware that this vehicle is sold "as is" without registration documents or any form of warranty. Other details are stated in the vehicle description. The vehicle is intended for display only. It is a museum vehicle. Proof of the vehicle's provenance is provided in the form of a declaration of provenance issued by Audi. This will be given to the buyer along with the vehicle upon delivery. Before the auction, the buyer has the opportunity to inspect the vehicle. The buyer will collect the vehicle from The Collectables at their own expense and responsibility, after signing the terms and conditions. The vehicle is sold exclusively as a collector's item or museum piece and may not be used on public roads or dismantled. If the buyer makes the vehicle available or transfers it to a third party, they will ensure that the transferee also agrees to these terms and conditions.
