In 2007, Audi unveiled the Metroproject Quattro, a hybrid-powered compact car. It proved to be the precursor to the new A1, which was introduced to the public in 2010, based on the Volkswagen Polo platform. This was much-needed, as Mini had been the leader in this luxury compact segment for years. The A1 could be fully customized, both interior and exterior, using the extensive options list. It was certainly on par with its larger siblings. The A1 TFSi offered here has only racked up a few kilometers in and around the factory and is still brand new. Even the protective film is still in place.
