Even more than 25 years later, the Volkswagen Golf 4's design still stands out. Its appearance was (and still is) excellent, provided it was original and hadn't become a McDonald's special. The materials used were of high quality, and there was a wide selection of engines. If you look at its competitors from that era, like the Opel Astra and Renault Megane, it's striking that there are still quite a few Golf 4s on the road.

The Pacific offered here has only 27 kilometers on the clock and is equipped with automatic climate control (Climatronic), a Beta radio, and power windows. As far as we know, this is likely the very last Golf 4 produced.

This lot is part of the unique modern classic car collection from the Audi factory in Brussels, which has been brought to the Netherlands.

Our Opinion

A Golf 4 with less than 100 km on the odometer is hard to find. This is understandable, as everyone bought such a car to drive. The Golf 4 remains highly sought-after and a reliable car. The example offered here is unique due to its mileage and the fact that it is likely the very last Golf 4 produced.
