The Audi was introduced at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show. Audi previously used the S1 name for the rally version of the Audi Sport quattro. The S1 is the most powerful A1. Only the A1 quattro series, limited to 333 units, had more power, with 188 kW (256 hp). A unique feature in this vehicle class is the quattro all-wheel drive. The Audi S1 ​​has revised front and rear bumpers, a wider but flatter grille, and a new taillight design. The headlights are also different. Furthermore, the S1 features 17-inch or 18-inch alloy wheels and half-leather sport seats. The S1 also features the drive select system, which allows for various vehicle settings, and a quad-pipe exhaust. The only drawback of the S1 is the smaller trunk due to the all-wheel drive.

The S1 offered here is blue and has only 36 km on the odometer, making it brand new. Almost all missing parts have been reinstalled, including the mirror caps, seats, rear bench, and gear lever. The center armrest and grille for the left speaker are included separately. The handbrake is still missing.

This lot was part of the unique youngtimer collection from the Audi factory in Brussels, which was brought to the Netherlands, and is now being offered again on behalf of the current owner.

Our opinion

An S1 with less than 100 km on the odometer is hard to find. Understandably, everyone bought such a car to drive. If you're looking for a unique car for your collection, this is your chance.
